Birthday Fun

I cannot believe how fast your first year went by!  You are already one now!  You are definetly full of confidence and still know what you want.  I feel like you are a worker.  You are always busy doing something...but yet sometimes you will let me hold you and you sit completely still, while usually watching what your sisters are doing. The theme for your party was pineapple.   For your birthday party I made this One Banner.  We gave you a baby doll, which you hugged and craddled.  You carried it with you for quiet a while.  You had fun at your party and everyone had fun watching you eat your cake! The picture of you eating the lolipop best illustrates the confidence I was talking about.

You know what you want!

This all happen while I silently watched on FaceTime.  Momma had just changed your diaper and she walked out of the room.  You were left in the room with Hannah.  She had been laying on the floor next to you and she got up and grabbed the iPad and walked away to the couch.  You let out a squel and then you got up and walked right over to the couch.  You reached out and grabbed the iPad out of her hands and took it from her and walked away with it.  I was awe struck...Ms Emma you are not even one years old yet!  Hannah, who is 3 at the time, basically just sat there dumbfounded as you took the iPad from her. It was this day that I knew, you definetly know what you want in and you aren't afraid to get it! Love it!

Beach Vacation

You are now 8 months old and we are vacationing at the beach.  You have your two front teeth and you are so in love with your sisters.  They are the joy of your life.  You want to be with them, near them or watching them.  No one seems to make you laugh like they do.  

Hannah (who is now 3) gets on the floor and crawls around with you and you love it.  It's like you have a twin sister crawling with you.  You talk (baby babble) the most to your sisters too.  Your sisters are playing Barbie and with dolls a lot these days, you crawl over and grab the doll...say something and try to make the dolls walk..you tap them up and down on the floor.  It's adorable!

Today you pulled yourself up from a sitting position to a standing position, by using this toy in the picture.  You are so strong!  I was shocked..just turned 6 months old today!

Valentine's Fun

You are every bit of sweetness that anyone could want in a baby!  Today your Momma told me out of all my grandkids...she thinks you are the one who looks like me the most...the blonde hair and eyebrows..and blue eyes.  :)
I had fun playing with you and you are just starting to reach out for my face.  You are very alert and always seem ready for anything new!  I love you sweetie!

Valentine's day

So for your first Valentine's day I gave you the book I love you this much and it came with this cute little bunny.  You seemed to like the little bunny.

I had even more fun taking your pictures with all these hearts...and you played with them too.



















You are still every bit as sweet as can be....You are such a good natured baby.  You rarely cry and are so easy going...just over all a happy baby!
I love to try to make you smile and love holding you!

A little bit of taking...

You are three months old and every bit of sweet already!
When you look at me and smile it seems as if you immediately want to communicate with me.  You will babble and talk sweet cooing sounds to me and then you are ready for something else.  You are very aware of your sisters and all the action around you and you enjoy watching their every move.  For as long as I remember you've been trying to hold your head up and now you like to be sitting up and looking at everything going on.
